This specialty training course, "Caring for Persons with Parkinson's Disease" was developed for the paraprofessional caregiver in long term care settings including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, adult family homes, and in-home settings.

The caregiving suggestions that are part of this curriculum have been identified as "best practices" in caring for persons with Parkinson's disease. They were written and reviewed by a team of Parkinson's specialists that are members of the Curriculum Development Team and Staff. Every effort has been made to present information that is up-to-date and accurate.
